Hey there! I'm Adam and this is my corner of the internet where I show off some of the things I've been working on.
I'm a Creative Technologist by day and help organisations with their problems, with a particular focus on trying to find simple and creative solutions usually with a technical twist. I dabble in writing, tinker with electronics, craft games, and generally try to make interesting things.
I've worked on a wide range of projects, from small websites to large web applications, and I've worked with a wide range of clients, from small startups to large government departments. I'm currently working on public sector projects at dxw, running my games company, Big Comet, working on some software side projects, and taking on consultancy gigs. I'm always looking for new challenges, so if you have a project you'd like to discuss, get in touch on linkedin or use my contact form

I made and published a card game called Inroads
Inroads is the first card game I've made. It's an easy to play, competitive road building card game for families, friends and foes. I had an idea back in November 2023 and set about making that happen. The game was funded succcessfully on Kickstarter in May 2024, exceeding the initial funding goal and nearly reaching 600% of the funds requested. The experience of making this game and shipping it has led me to set up a small studio called Big Comet making more board and card games which will be coming soon.

Designed and built a Sports Content Platform that took over the English Football League
As the CTO at Urban Zoo I was responsible for the technical direction, product strategy and implementation of the key products including Gamechanger and Streamline. During my tenure we built the platform from nothing and to a scalable platform serving over 30% of the EFL, including several Premier League teams.
My role involved me researching, planning, and developing a bespoke CMS, a customisable multi client based web platform, Android and iOS platforms, payment systems, advertising modules, and video streaming solutions, along with other key features and components. As part of my day to day role I did hands on development, technology and UX research documentation, specification writing, project management, mentoring, team management, client discovery sessions, and business strategy. Yes, it was a lot.

Angular Development for an interative bathroom planning tool for B&Q
Whilst working at DigitalBridge I led the development and integrations of the DigitalBridge SDK and the B&Q API's into an Angular application. This allowed users to place 3d models and design and map their bathrooms, and then generate a photorealistic 3D image of the designs and view on their browser.
